ง่ายๆเลยมันคือรถระดับเดียวกับ Ford Focus 5ประตู, Mazda 3 5ประตู แต่ต่างกันตรงที่จับมายกสูง ใส่เกียร์ CVT วางตามยาว และมีระบบส่งกำลังลง 4 ล้อตลอดเวลา (เป็นรถเจ้าแรกและอาจจะเจ้าเดียวในโลกที่วางเกียร์ CVT ตามยาวและใช้กับระบบขับสี่)

เคยใช้ซูบารุมือสองรุ่น GFT 1600 เป็นรถขับสองล้อหน้า ดีสค์เบรค 4 ล้อ ถือว่าล้ำมากเมื่อปี 2530-32 (สองประตูไร้ขอบกระจก)

ตอนหลังพี่สาวไปเทิร์นเอาโตโยต้า(มือสอง) 1300 DX สภาพใหม่กว่าแต่ขับห่วยมาก ยังกะหน้ามือกับหลังเท้า
.. 26 ปีผ่านไปกลับมาเจอ XV ก็เลยจองโฉมเก่าไปแล้วครับ 2.0 Sport สีบรอนซ์คงได้รถปีหน้า กุมภา 2559 
ปล. X-Trail Hybrid ไปลองมาแล้วครับ ตำแหน่งเบาะทั้งคนขับ คนนั่ง ผู้โดยสารและการบังคับควบคุมยังไม่ประทับใจ
รวมทั้งช่วงล่างที่ยังไม่เฟิร์มและไม่ดูดติดถนนเหมือน XV แต่ก็น่าคิดเหมือนกันว่าเพิ่มเงินอีกไม่มาก ได้รถคันใหญ่กว่า ภายนอกดูดี
ได้ระบบที่ทันสมัยภายในลูกเล่นเยอะกว่า แถมเป็นรถตลาดศูนย์บริการเยอะ ระยะยาวสะดวกในการซ่อมบำรุง .. แต่ว่า ชอบผมซูบารุมากกว่าครับ

สองเดือนที่แล้ว ไปเขาค้อ กับเพื่อน เพื่อนใช้ x trail 2.0 ตอนขากลับ ฝนตกปานกลาง ผมก็ขับลงเขาปรกติ

100 - 120 ได้อย่างมั่นใจ โดยที่ ภรรยาก็ไม่ได้บ่น หรือ เสียว อะไร แต่สังเกตดู รถคันอื่นๆ รวมทั้งรถเพื่อนผม

ทำความเร็วไม่ได้เลย ผมเห็นถนนเลนขวา ว่างๆ + ถนนดีมาก ก็เลยขับเพลิน ไม่ได้รอเพื่อน

พอมาถึงข้างล่าง รอเพื่อนอยู่ เกือบครึ่งชั่วโมง พอเจอกัน เพื่อนบอก ทำไม่จับเร็วจังวะ ผมก็ถามเพื่อนว่า

ไม่ได้เปิดขับสี่ เหรอ เพื่อนบอกเปิดแล้ว แต่มันก็ไม่มั่นใจ เพราะขับสี่ของ x trail พอความเร็วถึงระดับนึง

 มันจะตัดไปเป็นแบบ real time ไม่ใช่ awd เหมือน subaru  ครับ จบดื้อๆ
